Most children growing up here in the northern Uganda are without parents or with their single parents and are growing up in poverty. The lack of scholastic support makes them fail to attend school, fall behind and drop out.

Without giving at least the basic education to the children, you are only allowing the cycle of poverty to continue because education is essential to giving children the tools they need to create lasting change in their lives, and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

Children here growing up in poverty begin life with acute disadvantage and face uncertain futures. Your monthly support of $20 will give your sponsored child life-changing interventions, such as access to medical care, educational support, life skills and job training before graduation.

As a sponsor, you'll be able to see your impact first hand through letters, photos and videos from your child. You’ll learn about key programs specifically designed to address children's toughest issues in their fight to escape poverty.

This program seeks to cater for school dues and personal care supplies of 500 orphans in primary school, 400 in secondary and 600 in vocational training.
